Hello, today I have a card which is the base for my eldest son's birthday. I bought the clock die because I love clocks which have Roman numerals and it is one of Robert Addams new releases called Clock and Cogs. It cuts perfectly. I have used an Embossalicious folder called Regal Frame with Core'dinations card.
I had better come and answer your question before I forget Pauline.
Yes my dies did cut into the magnetic mat, in fact right through it and made a real mess so much so I mailed Crafters Companion and had a little moan. It seems this mat has only been introduced with the newer models and replaces the E plate, but the instructions have't quite caught up with the correct sandwich.
But they were extremely helpful, asked for my phone number, called me and went through a few cuts over the phone and sent me replacement mats. The secret it keeping the cutting edge of the die upwards towards the A plate. And what also threw me was the embossing mate is the thin squidgy one, again not clear in the instructions.
Love you use of the Timmy clock and the distressed corner elements.
Hope you have a good weekend, lets hope the weather perks up a bit.
This is gorgeous,love the design.xxx
