Moroccan-inspired

Hello, my card today was inspired by the new Spellbinders Shapeabilities Moroccan Accents (S5-064) available from J&C Creations website once the products have all been loaded or by phoning them on 01622 729 154.  

The central motif was die cut using Spellbinders Shapeabilities Pendants - Renaissance Hearts (S4-206) which I revisited because I thought it went well with the Accents.

I used an iridescent pink card for the die cuts but with hindsight I think it would have looked better with one of the bright Moroccan colours so I am away to try that out.

Birthday Puppy

Hello, my card today is a quick one using an image from Joanna Sheen's CD with Giordano called Puppies & Kittens.  I think this cute little pup is a St. Bernard.

Have a lovely Sunday - weather forecast for here in Kent is heavy rain but who knows.  We certainly need it but my one raised flower bed is getting rather soggy!!!

J&C Creations Open Day

Just to let you all know that J&C Creations have an Open Day at their warehouse in Maidstone, Kent (details here and link to map) on Tuesday 1st May.  

You will be able to find the latest bead and craft products together with lots of other lovely crafting goodies in their Aladdin's cave.  They are open from 10am until 4pm.

Patchwork Present

Hello, I am working on more commissions for J&C Creations which I cannot share yet so haven't made so many other cards but have managed this one.  The image is Patchwork Present from LOTV and I so love these new Patchwork images that I hope they bring out more in the series - note to memory - send them a request!

This image has been coloured with Promarkers.  I thought the peachy colours work well for a Spring card.


I have entered this into the Sir Stampalot Challenge.

SUNFLOWER

Hello, today's card is a decoupaged Heartfelt Creations Aztec Gold Sunflower together with some die cut leaves and punched borders.  Not quite LIM but I'm getting there with difficulty! 

Patchwork Daisy

Hello, the image on today's card is Patchwork Daisy by LOTV and has been coloured with Copics.  The border is cut using Edgeabilities from Spellbinders and the butterflies are punched.

Something Different

Hello, today I am posting something different.

A friend of mine is running in the Race for Life at the end of May and needed something pink to wear.  She doesn't do "pink" and didn't want to buy clothes in pink just to run in.  I said I had a pink daisy she could have to wear in her hair.  

I was in Hobbycraft at the weekend and saw some pink feathers and a couple of hair slides and thought I could make the daisy into something wearable - this is the result. I haven't shown it to her yet but as she wears this sort of thing in her hair normally but in colours other than pink, I hope she likes it.

Teddy Flower

Hello, the image on today's, rather sunny, card is Teddy Flower from LOTV.  The background paper is Basic Grey's Hello Luscious and the flowers are die cut using other papers in the same pad.

Football Crazy

Hello, another card made with a die cut from LOTV.  This time I have used Football Crazy from the sheet Having Fun.

Cuddly Teddy

Hello, today I have another card made with an image from LOTVs Cuddly Teddies die-cut sheet.  I have used the Poppy stamps Picket Fence die behind the image.

Spring Bunny with Daffodils

Hello, today I am posting the last of the Easter cards I made.  The image is an LOTV die cut from the Spring Rabbits sheet.  

Love London Tags & Bookmark

Hello, I have used stamps from the Love London Penny Black T for Transparent set for the 3 "postage stamps" and the background stamps are Penny Black's wooden stamps - Tower Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral and The Houses of Parliament.

The bookmark uses another two of the stamps in the Love London set.

These are the last two projects in my commission for February/March.  All the stamps used can be obtained from J&C Creations.

London Step

Hello, today I am posting a step-card made for J&C Creations  for their London 2012 showcase.  These images are from the same set as the previous post - Penny Black's T for Transparent Love London using the other stamps in the set.

The light wasn't brilliant when this photo was taken so unfortunately the right side doesn't show up as well as in real life.

They are all coloured with Promarkers.

London 2012

Hello, today I am showing another card I made for J&C Creations to introduce the new range of Penny Black stamps called the London Collection.  The image on this card is from the Love London T for Transparent stamp set and has been coloured with Promarkers.    

The flower is die cut using Core’dinations card and Marianne Creatables LR0131.  The stamp used for the tag is Penny Black's London Eye.

Spring Blossoms

Hello, the image on my card today is Spring Blossoms - a Sarah Kay design for Stampavie.  She is coloured with Promarkers and the background paper is Minuet by Memory Box.

Patchwork Hot Air Balloon

Hello, the image on my card today is one of the new release of stamps by LOTV called Patchwork Hot Air Balloon and the Patchwork stamps are my favourites of the 18 new releases available here.  I have used Promarkers to colour this image.
