Flora Grande

Hello, I have another card I designed for J&C Creations using Heartfelt Creations Flora Grande 2 stamp set.

Using the smallest flower stamp 5 flowers onto yellow pearl paper using a Memento Cantaloupe dye ink pad and cut out.  Go over the lines with a Promarker Sunflower pen to define the petals better.

Die cut a lattice using the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Expandable Patterns Basic Lattice die (S5-151) from brown pearl card to resemble a wooden trellis.

Die cut some of the foliage from Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage Two (S5-129) and arrange these and the flowers on the "trellis".  I used Stickles Glitter Glue in Orange Peel for the flower centres.

All the items in red are available from J&C Creations on-line shop.

The background paper is from a First Edition Hideaway pad.

Ruby Anniversary

Hello, today I am showing the card I made for my dear friend's Ruby Wedding Anniversary today - not that the colour gives it away!  I hope it is safe to post it now as they rise very early in the morning and will be preparing for loads of guests arriving later.

The fronds are a new Magnolia DooHickey die called Sprawling Ferns but to me they look a bit like feathers.

Gold Tatters

Hello, today I am posting another card created for J&C Creations (phone 01622 729154 to check for availability of the items I have used).

The backing paper is Script Pointsettia by Penny Black on cream card.

The white pearl card is embossed with a snowflake embossing folder and inked over with a glue pad so the raised parts are sticky and then sprinkled with gold glitter.

The snowflakes are cut from gold mirror card using Spellbinders Shapeabilities 2012 Snowflake Pendant (S5-117).  I have used the middle die and the small die together top right of the card and the largest die is under the flower which is die cut using a Sizzix Bigz die - Tim Holtz Alterations Tattered Florals.

I cut the first flower using red mirror card and the second using gold laced material.  To assemble, match the material die cut onto the mirror card die cut and then glue them together.

The sentiment is from Tim Holtz idea-ology Seasonal chitchat stickers.

The flower is a Gardenia (plus added glitter glue) from Wild Orchid Craft and the leaves die cut using silver mirror card and Marianne Creatables Mistletoe Twigs (LR0245).

Unfortunately the sentiment doesn't show up very well but it is from the Penny Black T for Transparent set Christmas Cheer using pink pigment ink.

Blue Anniversary

Hello, this is the second anniversary card I made.

I have used a page from Bo Bunny Weekend Market Collection with a die cut image from Little Clair which I bought at the Sincerely Yours craft show in Biggin Hill in September.  The words are cut using Britannia dies again.

This one is a bit LIM for me and another reason why I don't enjoy doing men's cards particularly - I like flowers not wooden buttons with a bit of twine!

Pink Anniversary

Hello, I have been away for the weekend down to Battle.  The hotel was very comfortable but apart from Saturday, the weather was awful!  We couldn't walk the battleground at Battle Abbey because the rain had turned it into a quagmire and it had been closed on safety grounds!  Still, it was a lovely rest.

Today's card uses an old Hobby Art wooden stamp called Blooming and has been coloured with Polychromos pencils with Sansodor.  The background pink foiled card is Hunkydory and the paper Spring Flowers from cArt-Us.

The flower is 2 die cuts from the middle-sized Tattered Blossoms die from Heartfelt Creations and available from J&C Creations.  The leaves are from the Magnolia Doohickey Leaf and Swirl die.

The "Happy Anniversary" has been cut using Britannia word dies.

This is a take on the article in November's Craft Stamper called "Glittering Ice" by Joanne Allison on page 12.  I have used the same embossing folder - Sizzix Tim Holtz Texture Fade: Cracked but used the snowflakes from Spellbinders Shapeabilities 2012 Snowflake Pendant (S5-117) and Marianne Designs Creatables Snowflakes (LR0125) both available from J&C Creations on-line shop.

I used pearl card for the embossing and silver mirror/glitter card for the snowflakes.

Tranquil Scene

Hello, today I am showing the card I made for my dear friend's birthday.  I experimented with a sentiment but wherever I placed it it spoilt the design so I put it inside instead.

The beautiful paper is printed from a CD by Artylicious called Essence of Nature and I love the colours but I think they look better in real life.  The stamp is by Clarity.
