Blooming Lovely

Hello, today I have used one of the new LOTV release Summer Bears called Blooming Lovely.  I have coloured the image with Promarkers and glittered the wings of the bee and butterfly.  The gorgeous paper is Spring Flowers by cArt-Us.


Living in this part of Kent, we are lucky not to have the dreadful weather those in the North have had.  However, we have had an influx of slugs and snails which have eaten 2 of our VIP's chicory plants with a 3rd looking decidedly dodgy and also one of our runner bean plants!

Dog Rose

Hello, today my card features a stamp by Stamp Barn.  Unfortunately, J&C Creations are not stocking these in future so my collection is limited but they do still have some stamps left.  Enquiries on 01622 729154 or visit their warehouse on 3rd July when you will be able to see those remaining.


I think this is a Dog Rose but it is unnamed in the catalogue.  This is a shaped card which I don't normally use but the front edge lent itself to have the flowers on.


Today is a lovely day here in Kent.  The sun is shining, the House Martins are flying around collecting insects and I can hear baby Starlings demanding food from their parents, a Chaffinch, Sparrows, Collared Doves and the odd Goldfinch whilst writing this.  Lovely!

Clarity Balloons

Hello, today I have a card which is my second attempt at brayering and sponging after attending a workshop recently (the first one went in the bin!).  The background paper is Up, Up and Away by First Edition.

I have a House Sparrow chirping outside my craft room window and it is the first time in a while that he does not have soggy feathers!  Still, I expect that will all change now Wimbledon has started.

Cuddly Teddies

Hello, a quick birthday card today using one of the images from the Cuddly Teddies die cut sheet from LOTV.  

It is for a little girl who is having a Princess-themed party so I have used lots of pink glitter and paper from Dovecraft's Princess Fairytale pack.

Bountiful

Hello, today I have another card I designed for J&C Creations which I am also entering into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week.  The good news is that J&C Creations will be sponsoring this challenge soon.

You will need:

Penny Black wooden rubber stamp – Bountiful which can be found on the J&C Creations website here.

You will also need: 

6x6 white square card

Alcohol markers

Green card

Patterned paper

Embellishments – buttons, flowers & leaves, ribbon, picket fence and flowers die cuts

Sentiment

Mat and layer green card and patterned paper onto the blank card.  Stamp and colour the image and mount onto the card.  Add the embellishments and sentiment.

Mega Sunflower

Hello, my card today is using one of the Sunflowers from Chocolate Baroque's A4 stamp plate - Sunny Sunflowers and instead of colouring it, I have used Mega-Flakes from IndigoBlu.  

The butterfly is cut from vellum using a Memory Box die and the gold swirl is from a Doohickey die.

J&C Creations June Challenge

Method:

Cut flowers using the Sizzix die with a neutral colour thicker paper and leaves from green.

Stamp Daisy Love onto Neenah card with Memento and colour.  Mat onto blue card and attach to the main card.

Add the ribbon, make a bow and attach.  Add the 2 of the flowers and a sentiment.

Sunny Sunflower

Hello, I am busy with commissions for J&C Creations but have made this card using two of the sunflowers from Chocolate Baroque's new A4 stamp plate Sunny Sunflowers.  This has 17 images in total which are several different flower heads and leaves.

This one was coloured with Promarkers.  The backing paper is one of Prima's newest 6x6 pads - Sun Kiss.

Clarity's Kind Hedgehog

Hello, the image on today's card is the large Kind Hedgehog from Clarity Stamps and has been coloured with Promarkers.

The flowers are made from crepe paper and the leaves are die cut using another two of Memory Box's May release - Lorelai Leaf and Lorelai Outline Leaf.

Swirly Tree

Hello, today's card has no stamped image!!!  Memory Box released some new dies in May  and this was one of them - Swirly Tree  - to which I have added some flat backed pearls.

The butterfly is also by Memory Box - Kaleidoscope (top) and Moonlight (base).  Is this suitable for LIM?  I think it is as close to it as possible for me.

Hello, today I have another card designed for J&C Creations using another of the Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies.  On this card I used the larger Decorative Chateau Gate die and mounted it on a piece of "brick" coloured Core'dinations card which had been embossed using a Sizzix Tim Holtz Chequerboard embossing folder.


Cut out the card behind the gate and mount the "wall" over a Heartfelt Creations Mystic  Hideaway image coloured with Promarkers with 3D foam.


I also added some die cuts from Marianne Creatables Anja's leaves, Anja's Leaves 4  and Ivy, stickled the leaves and punched a few small flowers.

Hello, my card today is a simple one but not simple enough for LIM!!  I have used two stamp sets from Chocolate Baroque - the daisies from The Rose Tree A5 sheet and the sunflowers from Sunny Sunflowers A4 sheet.

The background has been stamped using several colours of Versamagic Chalk inks and the main image coloured with Promarkers.

The butterfly is a Memory Box die.
