The Snowman

Hello, this is another card I designed for J&C Creations.  The backing paper is from the Wild Rose Studio Xmas Bella paper pad plus a bit of pink mirror card.

The Snowman is die cut from a Marianne Creatables die - Snowman (LR0246) using Coconut card, coloured with Distress Markers and matted onto an oval cut from holographic mirror card using Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements Floral Ovals (S4-356).

The Snowflake is die cut using mirror card and Marianne Creatables Snowflake (LR0125).

The flower is a Gardenia (plus added glitter glue) from Wild Orchid Craft and the leaves die cut using silver mirror card and Marianne Creatables Mistletoe Twigs (LR0245).

Unfortunately the sentiment doesn't show up very well but it is from the Penny Black T for Transparent set Christmas Cheer using pink pigment ink.

Blue Anniversary

Hello, this is the second anniversary card I made.

I have used a page from Bo Bunny Weekend Market Collection with a die cut image from Little Clair which I bought at the Sincerely Yours craft show in Biggin Hill in September.  The words are cut using Britannia dies again.

This one is a bit LIM for me and another reason why I don't enjoy doing men's cards particularly - I like flowers not wooden buttons with a bit of twine!

Pink Anniversary

Hello, I have been away for the weekend down to Battle.  The hotel was very comfortable but apart from Saturday, the weather was awful!  We couldn't walk the battleground at Battle Abbey because the rain had turned it into a quagmire and it had been closed on safety grounds!  Still, it was a lovely rest.

Today's card uses an old Hobby Art wooden stamp called Blooming and has been coloured with Polychromos pencils with Sansodor.  The background pink foiled card is Hunkydory and the paper Spring Flowers from cArt-Us.

The flower is 2 die cuts from the middle-sized Tattered Blossoms die from Heartfelt Creations and available from J&C Creations.  The leaves are from the Magnolia Doohickey Leaf and Swirl die.

The "Happy Anniversary" has been cut using Britannia word dies.

Contemporary Christmas

Hello, Today I have the card I made for J&C Creations October Challenge - Contemporary Christmas.  If you pop over to the J&C Creations Challenge website here you will find all the details of how to enter.

This is a take on the article in November's Craft Stamper called "Glittering Ice" by Joanne Allison on page 12.  I have used the same embossing folder - Sizzix Tim Holtz Texture Fade: Cracked but used the snowflakes from Spellbinders Shapeabilities 2012 Snowflake Pendant (S5-117) and Marianne Designs Creatables Snowflakes (LR0125) both available from J&C Creations on-line shop.

I used pearl card for the embossing and silver mirror/glitter card for the snowflakes.

Dainty Dancing

Hello, today my card is a quick one using one of the die cuts from the newest release from LOTV Mini Masterpieces and this is on Sheet 22.  The name is from the rubber stamp they sell with the same image.

I have used Dovecraft's Princess Fairytale as the background paper and the flower was from Craftwork Cards

Hello, today I have posted a tag I made for J&C Creations showcasing Tim Holtz products.  I have used Bigz Alterations Tag & Bookplate and Holly Branch dies with some recycled christmas decoration berries, some tinsel and sparkly ribbon.

The bookplate has been embossed with metallic powder and the letters are Alphaparts.  The background was coloured with distressed inks and I went over them with the new Distress Stain Brushed Pewter.

Tranquil Scene

Hello, today I am showing the card I made for my dear friend's birthday.  I experimented with a sentiment but wherever I placed it it spoilt the design so I put it inside instead.

The beautiful paper is printed from a CD by Artylicious called Essence of Nature and I love the colours but I think they look better in real life.  The stamp is by Clarity.

Roses

Hello, this was a suggestion from a friend who liked the flower arrangements I did on some cards for her.  I found it very therapeutic when my mojo for making cards disappeared because my Mum was very unwell.

Looking at it now, I think I could have added a few more things but I am pleased with the way it worked out.  My friend is on holiday so I will have to wait a couple of weeks to find out if it is what she wanted.

Anniversary

Hello, this is the other anniversary card I made.  I have used a digital paper from Artylicious Fantasy Floral.

The central embossed image is by Clarity Stamps but it might have been deleted from their range as I couldn't find it on their website.  The flowers are Prima.

Forever Friends

Hello, today I have - Yesss!! - a girly card!  This is one of the Forever Friends - coloured with PMs - images which came with a kit a long time ago now and I cannot remember where I got it.  The butterfly paper was in the same kit.

It was a bit fiddly but reversing the die cut hearts colours and 3d'ing the hearts so they stood out made the card different.

Footballer

Hello, another "boy" card today.  This one uses the largest footballer die cut from LOTVs Mini Masterpieces sheet 29.  I have used some holographic card to  back the footballs paper and die cut the number and letters.

Hot Rod

Hello, I seem to be making mostly boys cards at the moment and I don't find them easy!  I have used another precoloured die cut on this one from KraftyHands which I picked up from Oyster Stamps a fair while ago now and I am not sure they still stock them.

I have used Kraft card which Hels Sheridan showcased on Create & Craft recently and I think it is brilliant for masculine cards.  The sentiment is by LOTV.

Yeehaw!

Hello, today I have a birthday card made for my great nephew using one of the die cuts from the new Mini Masterpieces from LOTV.  This is number 30.  They are great for those quick cards.

The sentiment is also one of LOTVs - General Greetings Small which just fit inside the Bottle Cap Die from Whimsy Stamps although they do a set of stamp sentiments to co-ordinate with this die.
